Recently signed wide receiver David Anderson is back in the state of Colorado with the Denver Broncos and now he has his old jersey number. He has swapped with rookie tight end Virgil Green for the No. 89 jersey.
↵Anderson wore No. 4 with the Colorado St. Rams, but picked up No. 14 in his 2006 rookie season with the Houston Texans. But he switched to No. 89 in 2007 and has worn that since then. Well, he was slated for No. 85 this season, but now he's back in No. 89. He'll help the bottom half of the receiving corps.
↵Virgil Green picked up his old college number with the Nevada Wolfpack, jersey No. 85. The team has high hopes for Green along with fellow rookie Julius Thomas. It appears that both will not be counted on immediately to have an impact at tight end, as Daniel Fells and Dante Rosario were signed on Sunday.
