The Denver Broncos continue to sign their 2011 NFL Draft selections. After news broke that seventh-round pick TE Virgil Green signed, executive vice president of football operations John Elway announced on Twitter that the team signed two more players: fourth round TE Julius Thomas and sixth round LB Mike Mohamed.
Thomas has a stronger background in basketball, leading many comparisons to the NFL's top tight end, Antonio Gates. Thomas will help a thin position, as will Green. Mohamed's position in the linebacking corps is still up in the air, but a move to the middle of the field could be in order for him.
Elway mentioned that the team is still working on finalizing the contracts of the remaining picks, including Von Miller.
