Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton did show up to training camp on Wednesday, but he may not be there for much longer. Reports that Orton is negotiating a contract with the Miami Dolphins appear to be serious, as Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the two teams are deep into negotiations.
The NFL Network's Albert Breer believes that the contract negotiations with the Dolphins are the only thing standing in the way of a deal going down. According to Breer, the Broncos would receive "about a third round pick," which could mean there might be a conditional pick or something else included. But that is just idle speculation.
This deal could get done on Wednesday if all of these rumors pan out. And to think many thought Kevin Kolb was going to be the first quarterback traded.
