Denver Broncos To Host High School Combine During NFL Lockout

During this NFL Lockout, Dove Valley is a quieter place than usual since the players can't be there to workout, take physicals or take part in organized team activities. Instead, the players, led by Brian Dawkins, have held their own practices in Denver. Or as Tim Tebow has done, he's flown in his wide receivers to Jacksonville, FL and worked with them privately.

However, Dove Valley is about to host football events soon enough. On June 7 and 9, the Broncos will hold a high school combine twice per day for players of all levels. The high school players will be able to participate in the 40-yard dash, the vertical and broad jumps, the bench press and agility drills. They can imagine it to be just like the official NFL Combine many would hopefully like to take part in a few years down the line.

Plus they get to tour the facility, get their picture taken with the cheerleaders and a commemorative t-shirt. Sounds like a nice deal for $20.
