On Monday afternoon, it was announced that KCNC-4 will no longer be the lead broadcast station for the Denver Broncos. The most likely destination for Broncos coverage may be KUSA-9, but no deal is in place yet.
However, this will not affect game coverage of the Broncos. All 12 Broncos regular season game will still be shown since that is covered under the national CBS contract to televise AFC games. According to Tim Wieland, CBS-4's news director, there will still be 75 other Broncos programs on the CBS air waves.
