2011 NFL Draft Results: Jeremy Beal Drafted By The Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos drafted defensive end Jeremy Beal, a two-time (2009, 2010) AP All-American from Oklahoma, with the 247th overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. Beal is the first defensive lineman the Broncos took in this year's draft. He was the 2010

Beal was named the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2010 and had 19 tackles for a loss. In his career, Beal accumulated 58.5 tackles for a loss and 29 sacks, both tied for second in school history.

Beal's selection marks six defensive players taken out of nine total selections: three linebackers, two safeties, two tight ends, one offensive lineman and one defensive end.

Free agency, whenever it begins, awaits John Elway and John Fox.
