NFL Draft 2011 Results: Quinton Carter Selected By The Denver Broncos With The 108th Pick

Oklahoma safety Quinton Carter went to the Denver Broncos with the 108th overall pick of the NFL Draft. Here's John Elway explaining the pick:

Quinton Carter is a big, strong safety who we had rated very high on our draft board. Happy that he fell to us and is a Bronco.

With his addition as well as that of Rahim Moore in the second round, the Broncos are hoping the two can form the future of the Denver secondary.

That the Broncos have yet to draft a defensive tackle indicates a)they are drafting the top-rated player on their board and not reaching for a pick and 5)will look toward free agency (whenever that starts) to address that need.
