2011 NFL Draft: Auburn's Pro Day Will Have Broncos In Attendance

The Auburn Tigers will hold their pro day workout on Tuesday afternoon for NFL talent evaluators. Quarterback Cam Newton and defensive tackle Nick Fairley will be the main highlights there today. It's possible the two players could go No. 1 and No. 2 in the 2011 NFL draft to the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos, respectively.

As Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway wrote on Twitter earlier, the team will be at Auburn's pro day. It's unlikely they are looking at Cam Newton heavily, so Nick Fairley should be the main target. Darvin Adams, Mario Fannin and Lee Ziemba will also participate in the workouts.

Fairley is one of several targets the Broncos will look at with the No. 2 pick. Alabama's Marcell Dareus will have his pro day workout on March 9; Clemson's Da'Quan Bowers will have his the following day on March 10; and LSU's Patrick Peterson will work out for teams on March 14.

Auburn's pro day workouts will be televised on ESPN3.com at 11:30 a.m. MT.
