Tim Tebow has been eliminated from the Madden '12 Cover Tournament Bracket. In the latest results, No. 6 seed and Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles defeated the Denver Broncos quarterback by gaining 64 percent of the vote. Charles now faces No. 3 seed Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
There were a few upsets, notably led by former Bronco and current Cleveland Browns player Peyton Hillis. A No. 10 seed, Hillis sent the Ravens' Ray Rice home, a seven-seed. He will now face Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who beat the Panthers' Jordan Gross in a landslide, 89-11.
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, the No. 1 seed on the right bracket, defeated the Raiders' Darren McFadden by capturing two-thirds of the vote.
And now Broncos fans don't need to worry about having their guy on the cover of Madden and brace for the curse to strike him. Plus, these covers should always go to the more accomplished players.
