More: Super Bowl 2012 coverage.

Amidst a botched singing of the National Anthem by Christina Aguilera and a multitude of poor commercials, there's actually a football game to be played during Super Bowl 45. The Green Bay Packers lead the Pittsburgh Steelers, 21-10, at halftime.

Most of the first quarter was a defensive struggle, but the Packers had two scores in the final minutes of the period. Aaron Rodgers connected with Jordy Nelson for a 29-yard touchdown at 3:51 left in the quarter. That play capped a nine-play, 80-yard drive.

Less than 20 seconds later, Nick Collins intercepted Ben Roethlisberger and returned the pick for 37 yards for six points. Former Colorado Buffaloes kicker Mason Crosby made his second PAT after Collin's leap into the end zone.

Rodgers and Greg Jennings hooked up for a 21-yard touchdown with 2:31 left in the half to go up 21-3.

The Steelers didn't put any points on the scoreboard until the second quarter when kicker Shaun Suisham hit on a 33-yard field goal. The didn't score their first touchdown until 90 seconds were left in the half. Roethlisberger found Hines Ward in the end zone for an eight-yard touchdown pass to put the score at 21-10.

Roethlisberger has been picked twice total so far, the second one by Jarrett Bush with only a few minutes left in the half. That turnover set up the Packers' second touchdown pass of the game.
