Tim Tebow To Release Memoir In April, Go On Book Tour

Back in November, news of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow releasing a memoir broke. It is titled Through My Eyes and co-authored with Nathan Whitaker, who has previously worked with former NFL coach Tony Dungy. The original release date had been April 19, 2011, but now HarperCollins' website lists May 24 as the new release date.

However, the Sports Business Journal (via the Denver Post) still reports April 19 as the day for when fans will be able to read Tebow's biography. He will then do a three-state book tour with events in Denver, New York and Florida. At that point, the NFL may have a lockout on its hands, which would give Tebow plenty of time to promote this book.

I still don't think I'll buy this one; rather I'll wait for my local library to have a copy. Tebow, who is just 23 years old, still has plenty ahead of him, meaning we'll have future books covering his playing years. Tebow does have an interesting story to tell, but at $26.99 or whatever price book stores will mark it down to for being a new release won't make me want to own an actual copy.
