Eddie Royal Injury Update: Broncos WR Suffers Injury On Punt

The Denver Broncos lost a key offensive weapon on Sunday, as wide receiver Eddie Royal sustained a neck injury while attempting to return a punt against the Minnesota Vikings. Royal, also a punt returner for the team, collided with fellow Broncos player Matthew Willis on the play and fell to the ground. The team has since announced that Royal hurt his neck on the play, but he's questionable to return for the remainder of the game.

His services could certainly be in use, though, as the Broncos are tied 29-29 with the Vikings following a recent Tim Tebow touchdown run. Tebow's been unusually effective with the pass today, going 8-for-11 for 150 yards and two touchdowns, although Royal only caught one pass for seven yards before going down. For now, the focus of the team's passing offense will continue to be on Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker.
