Broncos Vs. Vikings Score: Mario Haggan Pick-Sixes Christian Ponder For 7-2 Lead

Sure, the Denver Broncos don't have rookie linebacker Von Miller playing today, but his replacement, Mario Haggan, has already had a big impact. After Britton Colquitt pinned the Minnesota Vikings deep inside its own territoriy, Christian Ponder attempted a pass. However, Haggan used his instincts and came up with an interception. He then ran it into the end zone for the 6-2 lead that turned into seven points with the extra point.

That was Haggan's first career interception and touchdown, according to the Denver Broncos' official Twitter feed.

The Broncos hadn't been able to do anything on their offensive drives before that defensive score. The first resulted in a safety and then a Christian Ponder fumble recovered by the Broncos resulted in the punt that came right before the interception.
