After two very lackluster performances in weeks 10 and 11, Willis McGahee bounced back in a huge way vs. the San Diego Chargers in Week 12, running for 117 yards in the Denver Broncos' overtime win. For Week 13, numberFire.com projects McGahee as the No. 14 running back for the week, making him a solid start in a second RB slot.
McGahee's projection is slightly dampened a bit by the Minnesota Vikings' defense having allowed the ninth fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL this season. Also, those two bad games in weeks 10 and 11 — when McGahee ran for 35 yards combined — are likely not far enough away to have complete confidence in McGahee's ability to put up big numbers this week.
