Tim Tebow Is In A 'Playoff Game' -- Time To Play Semantics

Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos are involved in an NFL playoff game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos are taking it as though the game is a playoff one, and even SI.com's Peter King is calling it a playoff game. Except it's not a true playoff game. No, I don't mean that it's not a game taking place after the regular season is over. It's that, as we all know, the Broncos can still find a back way into the playoffs even if they lose -- just as long as Oakland Raiders lose to the San Diego Chargers.

But King is right about both team's having plenty of motivation in this game. The Broncos would be back in the playoffs for the first time since the 2005-06 playoffs while the Chiefs are supposedly playing to have Romeo Crennel hired as head coach.

But, you know, Kyle Orton. . . .
