Even if many of the talking heads out in TV land don't like Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, fantasy football owners certainly do. In Yahoo's latest update to its transaction trends, Tebow is the No. 3 most added quarterback heading into Sunday's game. Six hundred ninety-six owners have added him while 40 teams made trades for him. Just 174 owners have dropped Tebow.
The only quarterbacks added more than Tebow by Saturday morning were Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith. Dalton faces the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, which makes for a tough matchup against that secondary. Smith, meanwhile, faces the St. Louis Rams, which could lead to a big day.
Tebow will face the Minnesota Vikings, who have one of the better run defenses in the league. While that might negate much of Tebow's value on the ground, remember that Tebow is a miracle worker (and proven by Harvard!). The Vikings secondary is not great, which could mean better things for Tebow's passing game.
