The Denver Broncos have a lot on the line in this week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs considering that they can clinch the AFC West division title with the victory, but their secondary may not be at full strength. The Broncos recently released an official injury report for Wednesday's practices, and four of the five players listed are defensive backs.
The full list can be found here, but it's shown below:
Full Participation
- LB Von Miller
- S Quinton Carter
Limited Participation
- CB Chris Harris
- S David Bruton
Did Not Participate
- S Brian Dawkins
Outside of star linebacker Von Miller, who's expected to play this weekend, you're looking at four cogs in Denver's secondary. Dawkins and Carter have been two of Denver's primary safeties this season, with Dawkins starting 12 times and Carter starting 9 times, respectively. Chris Harris has also emerged as a rookie this season, making four starts. It's unclear who will be able to play against Kansas City, but expect Kyle Orton and company to try to take advantage.
