One week after not having safeties Brian Dawkins and David Bruton on the field, the Denver Broncos will enter Saturday's game against the Buffalo Bills with the two defensive players listed as questionable, reports Andrew Mason. The Broncos will hope that Dawkins' neck and Bruton's Achilles will allow them to play.
The DBroncos had a weakened secondary against the New England Patriots last week, and it showed with Tom Brady finding tight end Aaron Hernandez for a couple of touchdowns. Rookies Quinton Carter and Rahim Moore have had their moments, but Moore especially has looked lost on the field of play, either beaten badly or with poor technique.
Dawkins injured his neck when he attempted to make a tackle, instead hitting into teammate Robert Ayers.
