Fantasy Football Projection: Willis McGahee Looks To Overcome Injury

Fantasy football owners are hoping that Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee reverses course from the previous two weeks and puts up his earlier stellar fantasy numbers for championship weekend. McGahee has been limited by knee and hamstring injuries the last two weeks, leading to just 24 carries for 104 yards.

McGahee was at full practice on Wednesday and he should be ready to shoulder the load. NumberFire is projecting a solid day for McGahee against the Buffalo Bills. The midweek numbers have McGahee with 16 carries for 70 yards. But the Bills defense is terrible against the run, allowing 139.5 yards per game. It's time for McGahee to get his seventh 100-yard game of the season. Should he and the Broncos win and then find the Raiders have lost, the team can rest McGahee in the final week of the season -- when fantasy players won't care that much.
