2012 Super Bowl Odds, Week 13: Denver Broncos Continue To Improve Odds

Sure, the Denver Broncos just reached 6-5 and are still on the outside looking in for a playoff spot, but the book makers keep giving the team shorter odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl with each passing week. The team opened as 100/1 favorites to capture Super Bowl XLVI. Just last week the team moved to 75/1, and now Bodog has moved the Broncos to 40/1 odds to win the Lombardi Trophy.

That puts the Broncos in the same area as the Chicago Bears and the Detroit, whose odds fell to 40/1 this week. The Oakland Raiders actually had their odds improve from 30/1 to 28/1. The San Diego Chargers stand at 100/1 after being 40/1 favorites last week. The Kansas City Chiefs remain at 500/1 for another week.

And to think, after a 1-4 start the Broncos could easily have been off the board, just like the Indianapolis Colts, the Minnesota Vikings, the St. Louis Rams, the Miami Dolphins, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers already are. Oh, what a change at quarterback and an improving defense will do for a team.
