Patriots Vs. Broncos Score: Tom Brady Puts New England In 24-16 Lead

Another turnover by the Denver Broncos has turned into more points for the New England Patriots, who now lead, 24-16, late in the second quarter. The Patriots gain the ball at the start of the third quarter, mind you.

Tim Tebow was sacked by Mark Anderson and stripped of the ball. Anderson recovered the ball at Broncos' 40-yard line. Working with the short field, Brady and the Patriots actually had a 4th-and-1 situation to overcome. They picked up 25 yards on a Brady to Aaron Hernandez reception. Brady, a few plays later, found the end zone on a sneak.

The score was reviewed, having been ruled a touchdown on the field. However, nothing on replay was able to convince the referee that Brady was down before he broke the goal line.
