Patriots Vs. Broncos Score: Tim Tebow Scores Early, But Tom Brady Has New England In 7-6 Lead

The Denver Broncos received the ball to start the game when the New England Patriots deferred to the second half. Apparently Bill Belichick wanted to test Tim Tebow early, and Tebow answered with a nine-yard touchdown run for the early 6-0 lead. However, Tom Brady answered right back with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Chad Ochocinco for the 7-6 lead.

Tebow escapes pressure in the pocket, runs straight into the trenches and battles his way through the mess to get the nine-yard touchdown run. A 19-yard run by Willis McGahee and a 25-yard run by Jeremiah Johnson kept the drive going at a fast pace.

However, the extra point attempt was messed up and Denver was stuck with just the six points. Tebow was 1-of-1 on the drive with a seven-yard pass to running back Lance Ball.

Tom Brady answered right back on the Patriots' first drive with a 33-yard touchdown strike to Chad Ochocinco, who is starting in place of the injured Deion Branch.

Andre Goodman was badly beaten on that play, which isn't surprising given his body of work this season. Despite his performance of the last two weeks, he is plagued early by those early season mistakes.
