Demaryius Thomas Fantasy Projection: Denver Broncos WR Ranked No. 48 In Latest Projections

On the heels of the best game of his young NFL career, Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas checks in as the No. 48 projected WR according to Numberfire. In the victory over Minnesota last Sunday, Thomas delivered huge production, making four catches for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Part of the reason that Thomas might be worth a start in Fantasy Football leagues is the secondary struggles that have plagued the Chicago Bears throughout the season. The Bears defense ranks 28th in the NFL in opponents passing yards per game, with opponents averaging 259.5 yards per game.

Another bonus for Thomas is the fact that the Broncos opened up their playbook in the win over Minnesota, with Tim Tebow throwing for 212 yards on 10-of-15 passing last week. If the Broncos continue to utilize Tebow as a passer, it will create more opportunities for Thomas.
