Von Miller Named November's NFL Defensive Rookie Of The Month

Sure, Von Miller has an injured thumb that might prevent him from playing in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, but that killer instinct that Miller has has rewarded him with the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month Award for November, according to Denver Broncos PR rep. Patrick Smyth. He picked up 4.5 of his 10.5 sacks in November as well as 31 tackles.

The Broncos went 4-0 in the month with the strong play of Miller. Miller had a key play in overtime against the Chargers to move the Chargers' field goal attempt to 53 yards, which was missed. And against the Jets, Miller delivered several big hits to Mark Sanchez, including one during the final drive of the game to end New York's chances of a late comeback.

Miller is certainly on pace to break the rookie sack record of 14.5 and to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
