After leading the NFL in sacks in 2009 with 17, Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil has gone nearly two calendar years without recording a sack in a regular season game, and it's starting to wear on him. A combination of injuries and some recent near misses have held him back, but he is trying to stay positive. He recently opened up to Jeff Legwold at the Denver Post about his frustrations:
"Sacks are what my position is about," Dumervil said. "Sacks are the stats, sacks are what I do. Of course I'm frustrated, but it's not the tough things that come your way that make or break you - it's how you handle them. I'm trying to handle it the best I can.
