The Oakland Raiders have officially declared running back Darren McFadden out for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, reports Paul Gutierrez of CSN. McFadden sprained his foot in the Raiders' 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago, did not return to the field and has not practiced since then.
With McFadden ruled out, expect Michael Bush to receive the start and for Taiwan Jones to play a bit more when the Raiders and the Broncos take the field on Sunday.
The Raiders will have a short week after the Broncos game since they play on Thursday, Nov. 10, against the San Diego Chargers. The Raiders and the Chargers are currently in a three-way tie with the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC West lead. The Broncos are well out of range of winning the division and the Raiders don't need to take a chance on McFadden as a result.
