Adrian Peterson Update: Minnesota Vikings RB 'Questionable,' According To Leslie Frazier

According to Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier, the Vikings will know more about Adrian Peterson's status for this week after practice on Wednesday, but right now he is "questionable" for their match up vs. the Denver Broncos as he recovers from a high left ankle sprain.

Obviously the Vikings' offense is much less threatening with Peterson on the bench, and in Week 12 vs. the Atlanta Falcons, the Vikings had trouble running the ball. The majority of the carries were given to ex-Stanford RB Toby Gerhart, who ran for only 44 yards on 17 carries. Percy Harvin also saw some action out of the backfield, but he only ran for 11 yards on 5 carries. Rookie QB Christian Ponder did have a good day throwing the ball, but most defense would likely prefer a Vikings team that is unable to run the ball.
