Week 13 NFL Picks And Predictions: Denver Broncos Slight Favorites Over Minnesota Vikings In CBS Sports' Selections

Just because the Denver Broncos are 5-1 since Tim Tebow took over as the team's starting quarterback doesn't mean they're automatic selections in games against weak competition. Case in point, CBSSports.com's panel of experts split their choices for this game, 3-2, in favor of the Broncos over the Minnesota Vikings. That's in both the straight pick 'em and going on odds.

The Vikings do offer a solid rushing defense that could stop Tebow from doing much on the ground, but when Tebow and Willis McGahee both need to be watched for, the Vikings defense might not be able to fully compensate. Plus, the pass defense isn't great, so Tebow could finally have that passing game that makes him look like a good passer.

If Adrian Peterson doesn't play for the Vikings, the Broncos must surely be the selection to win this game.
