Darren McFadden Injury Update: Oakland Raiders RB Does Not Practice On Thursday

There are increasing signs that Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden won't play. After sitting out Wednesday's practice and leaving team facilities on crutches with his foot in a boot, McFadden did not practice on Thursday, reports Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times.

The Raiders probably think that the can win either way against the Broncos and would rather not risk re-aggravating the foot sprain. This way, McFadden will be ready to go against the San Diego Chargers on the road just days later on Nov. 10.

Michael Bush is in line to receive the start. As Evan Silva points out, Bush averaged 27 touches in his three starts for the Raiders last season. Even with Carson Palmer seemingly ready to start, the Raiders might just rely a bit more on the run, and that will hurt the Broncos.
