Fantasy Football Projections, Week 12: Tim Tebow Still Best Bet Among Denver Broncos

Tim Tebow remains the Denver Broncos' best fantasy option (until Willis McGahee is fully healthy), even if he makes his owners wait until the very end to get their points.

While it does take Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow some time to heat up and pile on the fantasy points, he usually does deliver them by the end of the game. Tebow accounted for most his 17 fantasy points against the Jets when he directed the 95-yard game-winning drive, including the 20-yard touchdown run.

Tebow's fantasy value is greatly tied to his ability to run the ball, and that was certainly hampered for much of the game against the Jets. But Tebow has often met or exceeded his projections on the ground. In fact, numberFire this week is quite conservative in Tebow's rushing projection. He is expected to have nine rushing yards (9.26 is the actual projection). This will almost assuredly go up as the week goes on. He is facing the No. 23 rush defense (124.4 yards) in the league in the San Diego Chargers.

Surprisingly, the numberFire projections see Tebow completing 16 passes on 27 attempts for 178 yards. This seems a bit of a stretch and it wouldn't be too surprising if those come down as the rushing projection goes up. For now, he is projected for slightly less than 13 points.
