Week 12 NFL Power Rankings: ESPN Gives Denver Broncos Boost To No. 17

The five-writer panel over at ESPN has released its NFL Week 12 Power Rankings list,  and the Denver Broncos have jumped up two spots to No. 17 overall. At that spot, the Broncos are listed as the ninth-best team in the AFC. Here is what Paul Kuharsky has to say about the team this week:

17 Broncos 5-5 A rested team with Tim Tebow now entrenched, Denver has a big chance to pull away from the Chargers. (Kuharsky)

Of course, the Broncos aren't really chasing the Chargers, so let's take a look at the rest of the AFC West teams as well.

14  Raiders 6-4 The Raiders will face the Bears in Chicago's first game without injured quarterback Jay Cutler. (Kuharsky)

21  Chargers 4-6 The Chargers will face a different Broncos team Sunday in Denver than the one they saw seven weeks ago. (Kuharsky)

22  Chiefs 4-6 They didn't look like a division contender with Matt Cassel; it's hard to imagine they'll make much noise with Tyler Palko. (Kuharsky)
