Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden might not give the Denver Broncos nightmares this weekend. McFadden's foot sprain prevented him from practicing on Wednesday, and Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times believes the team will hold McFadden out for the game and have him ready to play against the San Diego Chargers.
McFadden hurt his foot against the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago and had the bye week to start recovering from it. But it now appears that Michael Bush will receiver the start for the Raiders. Taiwan Jones is also there in the backfield as a change-of-pace back.
In his career against the Broncos, McFadden has 101 attempts for 637 rushing yards and five touchdowns. His best game came at Mile High in 2010 in the 59-14 debacle loss for the Broncos. He rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass.
