Fantasy football owners who have taken their chances on Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow for the last two weeks might start reconsidering their decision to do so when the team faces the Oakland Raiders on the road this Sunday. Our fantasy football partner numberFire projects slightly less than 14 points for Tebow. At this point, it is far easier to picture him throwing more interceptions than touchdowns, which numberFire projects.
Tebow has picked up most of his fantasy points in either the final five minutes of the game against the Miami Dolphins or in garbage time against the Detroit Lions (and there was plenty of that). Do owners want to keep sweating out games like that? Clearly Tebow isn't improving each game and his fantasy value does appear to be diminishing with each game.
Below you'll find a set of projections for the Denver Broncos, as provided by numberFire. There really isn't much more out there for fantasy owners to possibly be excited over. Eric Decker and Eddie Royal are heavily dependent on Tebow's performance, which could also give fantasy owners plenty of concern for long periods of time.
Willis McGahee could play this weekend and numberFire has projected 5.81 points. Knowshon Moreno might get 3.30 points according to the same projections, which means both players aren't hot starts this weekend. But that could quickly change if McGahee's broken hand prevents him for playing for a second week in a row.
