With their 17-13 victory over the New York Jets, the Denver Broncos are very much alive in the AFC West race. They now are in second-place in the division by half of a game with a 5-5 record. The San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chargers are both 4-5 and both teams will find it hard to tie the Broncos for second place on Sunday.
The Chargers are on a four-game losing streak and must face the Chicago Bears, who are on a four-game winning streak, at Soldier Field. The Chiefs are heading to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots. They will have Tyler Palko as their starting quarterback. Oh, how things have changed in the division over the last month.
The Oakland Raiders do get to face the Minnesota Vikings, so they might keep ahead of the Broncos in the standings. But if they don't, this division will be wide open.
