Shonn Greene Injury: NY Jets RB Leaves Game After Hit To Head, Rib Injury

Thew New York Jets entered Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos thin at running back since LaDainian Tomlinson was declared out for the game. Now, starter Shonn Greene is out of the game. He took a hard hit to the head and picked up a rib injury.. After getting up under his own power and walking to the sideline, he went to the locker room to be looked at.

The Jets now have Joe McKnight as their featured back while rookie Bilal Powell, activated on the game day roster after Tomlinson was declared out, is his backup. The Jets could be in dire straits if Greene is unable to come back to the field.

The Broncos lead the Jets, 3-0.
