Willis McGahee Injury Update: Denver Broncos RB Expected To Play Against NY Jets, According To Report

While he is listed as questionable and is a game-time decision for Thrusday's game against the New York Jets, Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee is expected to play in the game, reports the NFL network's Jason La Canfora.

This seems to be a rosier outlook on the situation, but apparently the Broncos believe everything will be fine with McGahee when he takes the field for warmups. Lance Ball, who would start if McGahee is unable to go, will remain as his backup. But with the run-first offense that the Broncos have in place, expect Ball to also receive the ball numerous times.

The last thing thing the Broncos would like to see, though, is McGahee further aggravate the hamstring, so he'll need to be at 100 percent to play.
