Willis McGahee Injury Update: Denver Broncos RB A Game-Time Decision Against New York Jets

The Denver Broncos won't know running back Willis McGahee's status on Thursday until he takes warmups before kickoff against the New York Jets occurs. McGahee was listed as questionable on Wednesday after two days of limited participation in practice.

McGahee did miss one game due to a broken hand earlier in the season, but this hamstring injury could potentially be devastating if he aggravates it even further. Head coach John Fox didn't want to play McGahee with the broken hand unless he was absolutely certain that he could play at full capacity. Fox should take that same route this week.

Still, Lance Ball is ready to go and is likely to receive plenty of action with or without McGahee in the lineup. The Broncos' run-first offense with Tim Tebow at the helm dictates a preponderant running attack that requires multiple backs.
