Jeremiah Johnson Signed To Denver Broncos Active Roster, Xavier Omon Added To Practice Squad

The Denver Broncos wasted no time in signing a replacement for Knowshon Moreno, who was placed on injured reserve for a torn ACL suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs. The team announced that Jeremiah Johnson was signed from the practice squad to the active roster. Johnson was promoted to the active roster earlier in the season when Moreno was out with a short-term injury, but he didn't see any action against the Cincinnati Bengals and returned to the practice squad after that contest.

To take his place on the practice squad, the Broncos signed Xavier Omon. Omon had previously worked out for the Broncos a couple of days after Willis McGahee broke his hand. At the time, though, the Broncos held off signing any replacement player.
