Knowshon Moreno Injury: Denver Broncos RB Injures Knee Against Kansas City Chiefs

The Denver Broncos lost not only Willis McGahee to injury on Sunday but also Knowshon Moreno. Moereno left the game with a knee injury and did not return. Moreno was actually off to a good start, totaling 52 yards on four carries. He had a long run of 24 yards, a display we have rarely seen from him.

Moreno's status after the game has yet to be updated, but he could miss time with this injury. He missed a couple of games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury, which allowed Wills McGahee to become the starting running back for the Broncos.

Lance Ball then took over the running duties for the Broncos. He had 30 carries for 96 (3.2 yards per carry) as part of the Broncos' read-option offense.
