Broncos' Von Miller Fined For Hit On Raiders' Carson Palmer

The long arm of the NFL has descended on the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders. Rookie linebacker Von Miller was given a $15,000 fine for a hit on quarterback Carson Palmer in Sunday's game, reports Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post. Miller received a roughing the passer penalty after he hit Palmer with his helmet in the chest.

However, two Raiders players also received fines. Aaron Curry and former Bronco Jarvis Moss were fined a combined $35,000 for two hits on Tim Tebow. Crime doesn't pay, right? Curry and Moss lost not only money but also the game.
