Denver Broncos Injury Report Update: Wesley Woodyard Back In Practice

Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post is reporting that Denver Broncos LB Wesley Woodyard is back in practice:

@PostBroncos: All players participating in practice today, including Wesley Woodyard.

Woodyard had missed two consecutive practices with a knee injury and appeared likely to miss Sunday’s contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 4th year linebacker presently leads the Broncos in tackles.

Having Woodyard healthy for Sunday’s game could be huge benefit to the Denver Broncos defense. Without Woodyard, the defense would be forced to rework their nickle alignment and likely slot an ill-fit linebacker into pass coverage.

The Broncos have yet to release the remainder of their injury report, but with the full squad practicing today, it seems likely they may avoid any major absences on Sunday.
