Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 9: Denver Broncos Unlikely To Offer Much Fantasy Help Off Wire

There aren't many good Denver Broncos players to pick up from the waiver wire for Week 9, but Tim Tebow is one possibility if one wants to take that risk.

There aren't many good fantasy options from the Denver Broncos to pick off the waiver wire this week. In fact, Tim Tebow is probably still available in a number of leagues, but do any owners want to take that risk on him? I've been somewhat bullish on him the last two weeks; however, after five minutes of magic against the Miami Dolphins and then garbage time stats compilation against the Detroit Lions, fantasy owners might be frustrated with him at this point.

In a standard Yahoo! Fantasy league, Tebow scored slightly over 14 points, but was six points off what their projections had him getting. NumberFire proved close to the mark with its projection of over 16 points. The fantasy value is still there, but he certainly seems a risky player to start.

Knowshon Moreno is potentially a good pick up if he is still available. The big rush for Moreno was last week when Willis McGahee broke his hand. McGahee might have a chance to play this week, but we won't know more until Wednesday's practice. If Moreno is available, grab him right now.
