NFL Power Rankings, Week 5: Broncos Move Slightly To No. 26

Maybe the Denver Broncos shouldn't feel too bad about losing to the Green Bay Packers, 49-23. The Broncos weren't the first team that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers beat up and they won't be the last. That's how SB Nation's Joel Thorman sees the Broncos this week. He moves them up in his latest NFL power rankings from No. 27 to No. 26:

26. Denver Broncos (1-3, LW: 27): Don't worry, Broncos. You're not the only one Aaron Rodgers is slicing up these days.

The Broncos do still rank ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, who are No. 27 this week. Kansas City did beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday to escape the bottom of the rankings. Both teams are going to battle to keep from being the lowest-ranked AFC West team.

The Oakland Raiders dropped slightly from No. 15 to No. 19 following their loss to the New England Patriots. The Patriots, ranked No. 4, are the team the San Diego Chargers lost to this season, but San Diego beat the Dolphins on Sunday. The Chargers have jumped from No. 12 to No. 6 and are the clear favorites in the AFC West right now.

The Broncos play the Chargers at home this Sunday.
