Week 5 NFL Power Rankings: Broncos, 'Dream Team' Eagles In Same Boat At 1-3

The Denver Broncos will still be near the bottom of the latest NFL power rankings due to their 49-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Denver Broncos fans have plenty to be down about following the team's fall to 1-3 after the 49-23 loss to the defending Super Bowl champions, the Green Bay Packers. But Philadelphia Eagles fans are probably taking their team's 1-3 start even worse. For a squad that Michael Vick thought was a "Dream Team," things just haven't fallen their way. After an opening game victory, the Eagles have dropped three straight games. Even harder to deal with, Vick has been constantly hit and knocked around. From a concussion to a hand injury, Vick is the target of every defensive player.

When the latest NFL power rankings come out, we'll need to check if the Eagles have fallen as far as the Broncos have. Last week the Broncos found themselves ahead of all five winless teams. This week four teams remains without a victory, but it is possible some rankings will put the Broncos in the mix with those teams. Those would be the rankings that base things on how the teams have played so far and not their expectations of what could happen going forward.

It'll be interesting to see where Philadelphia comes in. They blew a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Eagles are now 0-2 at home with the loss. Chances are that they will be a few spots ahead of the Broncos.
