Lions Vs. Broncos Score Update: Efficient Stafford Helps Lead Detroit To 24-3 Halftime Lead

After injuring his ankle in the frustrating 23-16 home loss to Atlanta, there were some worries that Matthew Stafford might not be ready to play this week against Denver. If the first half is any indication, Stafford is more than healthy, as the young QB has been outstanding in helping lead the Lions to a 24-3 halftime lead over the listless Broncos.

Following a field goal from the Broncos on the opening possession of the game, the Lions have been in complete control. Stafford threw TD passes to Titus Young and Tony Scheffler, while Maurice Morris added a rushing touchdown. Although he hasn't found the endzone, Calvin Johnson has been excellent, with 60 yards receiving.

For the Broncos, it will take another piece of Tim Tebow magic to get back into the game. Just as he did in the first half against Miami last week, Tebow has struggled with his accuracy, completing only 4/13 for 37 yards.
