Lions Vs. Broncos Injury Update: RB Jahvid Best Among Detroit's Inactives

We've already looked at Denver's inactive player list for Sunday afternoon's game against the Detroit Lions, so now let's cover the players that won't be active for Detroit. Starting running back Jahvid Best will be missed the most, although I'm sure that some fans will be disappointed to see that defensive tackle Nick Fairley is inactive as well.

Best, a former first-round pick by Detroit, is still battling concussion symptoms from an injury he suffered two weeks ago. They'll be starting veteran back Maurice Morris in his place, and Keiland Williams should see some more reps against Denver, too.

Detroit's other inactive players are quarterback Drew Stanton, defensive back Don Carey, tackle Jason Fox, wide receiver Rashied Davis and recently-acquired safety Chris Harris, via the Broncos' Twitter feed. Harris was claimed off waivers from the Chicago Bears just a couple days ago.
