Denver Broncos safety Brian Dawkins missed Thursday's practice, but he hasn't come down with injury. Rather, head coach John Fox reported that Dawkins sat out the day due to illness. How that affects his status for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions remains unknown.
Dawkins is coming off his best game of the season. He recorded two sacks against the Miami Dolphins and had five total tackles. Dawkins had hurt his neck earlier in the season, which led the Broncos to sign Rafael Bush off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad after Brandon Lloyd was traded, but he was good to go after the bye week.
The full Broncos injury report will come out later on Thursday evening.
