Tim Tebow, Von Miller Up For Weekly Awards

Two weeks ago, Tim Tebow was nominated for a GMC Never Say Never award for a comeback that didn't happen against the San Diego Chargers. Everyone wants to cash in on Tebow even if, you know, the results aren't always there. But this past Sunday, Tebow actually did lead the Denver Broncos to a comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins.

So, yes, he does deserve the nomination this week for the GMC Never Say Never Award. Plaxico Burress catching three touchdown passes for the New York Jets hardly seems that great and Mike Wallace setting a Pittsburgh Steelers' record with a 95-yard touchdown reception can't compare to the power of Tim Tebow willing his team to victory over the Dolphins, right?

[UPDATE] Tebow and the Broncos were this week's winner for the GMC Never Say Never Award.

Rookie Von Miller is also up for an award this week. He is up for the Week 7 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award. Miller had five tackles and one sack. He now has six sacks in six games for the Broncos. He is on pace to break the rookie sack record of 14.5 (set by Jevon Kearse in 1999).

Vote Miller! Vote Tebow!
