For the first time in franchise history, the Denver Broncos defeated the Miami Dolphins on the road, 18-15. It took a Matt Prater field goal in overtime to defeat the Dolphins. Prater missed two field goals earlier in the game, but redeemed himself with the game-winning kick.
Tim Tebow played a huge part in the by leading a fourth quarter comeback in the final five minutes. After playing abysmally for the first three and a half quarters, Tebow found Demaryius Thomas and Daniel Fells for touchdown receptions inside the final three games. But Tebow also needed a two-point conversion to tie the game at 15, which he ran into the end zone unimpeded.
On the day, Tebow was 13-of-27 for 161 yards and two touchdown passes. He also had eight carries for 65 yards. Willis McGahee had just 76 yards on 18 carries, leaving the game late with a hand injury.
Matthew Willis and Fells had key receptions of 42 yards and 31 yards, respectively, to set up the touchdowns.
The 2-4 Broncos return home for a contest with the Detroit Lions at Mile High. Tim Tebow is certainly looking for another exciting game.
