Broncos Vs. Dolphins: Tim Tebow, Denver Down After 1st Quarter

Even though Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow visiting Miami appears to have led to many ticket sales, Sun Life Stadium has many missing seats. And the football has been bad, too. After one quarter of play, the Miami Dolphins lead the Broncos, 3-0.

Tebow's first drive was unspectacular. In fact, he almost threw a pick-six to linebacker Karlos Dansby on his firt pass of the game. He's 2-of-3 for eight yards. Eric Decker has a seven-yard reception and running back Knowshon Moreno picked up a one-yard catch. Willis McGahee has run for 29 yards on seven carries. Tebow has three of the team's 10 carries and has 19 yards so far. He broke off a 13-yard run.

Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore is 7-of-11 for 52 yards, but his team had been unable to do much on offense before the field goal. His opposite number, Matt Prater, missed a 49-yard field goal for the Broncos in the first quarter.

Rookie Quinton Carter started in place of Rahim Moore at safety while Eddie Royal was in for Demaryius Thomas to start the game.
